Inspiring kids: Ania’s story

Ania, who is known online by the alias ‘Dainty Warrior,’ was diagnosed with retinoblastoma in 2013 and treated at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. Ania’s cancer caused her to lose one of her eyes, but that didn’t stop her from painting and creating beautiful artwork. Ania who is now in remission continues to paint pictures and sell them on Etsy to help raise money to now help other families who are going through a childhood cancer treatment, helping them to pay for their bills from meals to housekeeping to transportation.
