seriously???!!! eat white bread – not a good idea anytime – jeez – who writes this stuff?

  2. I eat quick oats with raisins and raw turmeric about 30 minutes prior to my morning workouts daily. Makes a big difference for me. I have to agree with all said except the white bread too but then again, toast??? quite possible they meant that????

  5. The author and nutritionist are correct. Eating white bread immediately before or during a prolonged or Strenuous workout provides simple carbohydrates which are useful for maintaining energy and sustained efforts. Fat and protein are not useful, and complex, low glycemic index carbohydrates exclusively will result in bloating during prolonged workouts. This is not an endorsement for such Foods for other meals.
