  1. the mere mention of a keto diet is not helpful. What foods are in a keto diet? how much consumption per day is helpful. Dietitians at Advocate tend to tell you how you should eat but not the foods that are healthy to eat.

  2. I think there is a typo in your article. The last sentence states Keto limits protein, but I believe you meant carbs.

No, Keto does limit protein, as well as carbohydrates. That’s why it is valuable to people who are dealing with kidney disease. For thin Diabetics, would limiting protein alone – without severely limiting carbohydrates – be just as valuable?

  4. Keto limits both carbs and protein. Most people limit carbs to 20g a day or less. The amount of protein depends on your height. I am five feet tall so the amount I should have is roughly 69g. I can have up to 135g of fat, but I try to stick between 45-75g of fat because I am also trying to lose weight. You can look up keto diet calculators to determine what you should have. People who are bodybuilders tend to have a bit more leniency with carbs and protein because they need more energy to maintain their physique.
