Please read: I was a patient at Ingalls back in 2009. June 18th my dad died as a result of surgery for prostate cancer. In September of that same year I attended Ingalls due to Sickle Cell crisis ,unfortunately, for me I was given far too much medication and had to be revived after suffering from being overdosed. This one mistake has altered my life completely. Some days I wish they had left me dead. As a result my body bloated to the point of being unrecognizable. I was transferred by ambulance to Mt. Sinai some days afterwards due to not having medical coverage for this location. I suffered my one and only seizure while receiving treatment at My. Sinai. Since this time I have had bilateral hip and shoulders replacement. My last surgery was on my neck due to # 4 and 6 discs leaning oagainst my spinal chord. Prior to this incident I had never had any surgeries done. I live in constant non stop pain now. Employment is almost impossible because I am not capable of doing anything except limited driving. It has been over a month since I was able to drive due to being too sick. I tried to get some assistance in trying to find out why my body was torn to pieces by attempting to talk to anyone on the hospital staff and by ordering my medical records but no one wants to talk and I was given medical records for the wrong year. My phone contact is 708-712-4923. If you can direct me to someone who can explain to me why my bones are deteriorating or why no one made an effort to follow up on me after making such a horrible mistake.
