Pediatric patients play catch at Wrigley Field
Pediatric patients had the chance to hit baseballs where the Cubs players practice.
Emily Beazley, a 10-year-old battling Stage III T-Cell Lymphoblastic Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, enjoyed time with her family playing catch and running bases on the field.
It was a fun, memory-building day for all at Wrigley Field.
Carter Solgos, an 8-year-old boy diagnosed with a heart defect at birth, got the chance to run the bases, catch fly balls and sit in the dugout at Wrigley Field with his dad.

For a second year, Advocate Children’s Hospital teamed up with the Chicago Cubs to give some very special pediatric patients a once-in-a-lifetime experience on the Field of Dreams. It’s all part of Catch in the Confines that was held on Father’s Day – Sunday, June 16. Fifteen patients and their families had Wrigley Field all to themselves to run the bases, catch fly balls, visit the dugout and much more.
