Treating kids like royalty

Pediatric patients at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill. were recently given the royal treatment when they were visited by Elizabeth Safrit, Miss United States 2014. She made each child feel like a princess or prince as she passed out crowns and scepters to the girls and armor and shields to the boys. Most important were the smiles she brought to the children — many of them hospitalized with serious disorders.
