Breast cancer diagnosis lessons from a mom to her kids

After many women are diagnosed with breast cancer, one of their first thoughts is, “How will I tell my kids?” For one mom from Park Ridge, that very question was almost more difficult than the diagnosis itself. Breast cancer survivor, Gina Schrantz, shares how she used her treatment time at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital as a teachable moment for the children she loves more than anything in this world.
